The tags are created for the owner of the catalog.
Tags are sensible to language, if not defined tag for a secondary language is used as the default.
Tags are used to search objects using other aspects instead of folders.
For example, you can use a Tag named "wood" to search all objects with this tag in all folders.

The owner of each catalog can create different tags help to users select the better object of your catalog.
By default, ApliCAD UpdateBIM uses a classification based on folders like Windows Explorer, and usually, this classification is sufficient in many cases, but you can use tags to add more information to each object of your catalog.
For example, the manufacturer "AZTECA Ceramica" use the size of your products in the folders classification, and adds tags for other characteristics of your products, in the next image, you can see when the user put "Contract" and "Exterior" in the tags selector and the number of items and folders adapting to this filter.
